Name: Johnny Bradley
Age at time of disappearance: 20
Date of disappearance: 5/3/2022
Location of disappearance: Rochester, NY/ Last seen leaving Strong Memorial Hospital
Johnny Bradley checked himself into Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. in May of 2005 for a medical condition he's had since he was little. Johnny was discharged the morning of May 3, 2005 but was never seen after this. It is believed that Johnny checked out of Strong Hospital on May 4, 2005 at around 2:00 p.m.
Ray says Johnny accidentally swallowed oven cleaner when he was five years old and has had about fifteen reconstructive surgeries on his esophagus and digestive tract. Ray also says Johnny needs medicine to stay alive, but the prescription has not refilled since before his disappearance.
At time of his disappearance, Johnny was living with his grandparents, but was close to his whole family. Ray says Johnny was more of a loner with few friends. Majority of the time, he was hanging with his cousins.
One week later, in the area of Thorndale Terrace and West Ave, Johnny's car, which was his grandmother's vehicle he had been driving at the time since his was being repaired, a green 1994 Capri Seville with an unknown license plate was found, and that is when his family called the police.
According to Ray Bradley, Johnny's father, police didn't show up at the scene until about four to five hours after they called. Once they did show up, Ray says they did not dust for fingerprints, they towed the car.
Ray also says that following Johnny's disappearance, his bank card was used in Florida to purchase McDonalds, as well as an attempted purchase for a car rental. Ray tried to have this investigated further, but the investigator never did.
In the media, Johnny's case has had minimal coverage. For a list of coverage from news outlets, follow the link here. Ray believes the lack of coverage is because of systemic racism. The Rochester Police Department has declined to comment on those allegations.
Johnny was collecting Social Security checks in 2005, but has not collected any payments since the date of his disappearance.
Johnny was last seen wearing a blue and/or burgundy pullover jacket, with a yellow striped shirt, faded blue jeans, and brown Timberland boots.
In 2007, Ray was offering $2,000 of his own money for any info about his son because he felt the police were not doing enough.
Johnny would be around 37-years-old today.
